Warranty and Terms & Conditions
Silent Pod is committed to delivering high-quality products. Our warranty terms are designed to provide peace of mind while ensuring fair and transparent conditions for all parties. These terms apply to all products sold and installed in Australia.
Electrical Components Warranty:
We provide a one-year warranty on all electrical components against defects in materials or workmanship under normal use. Should a covered issue occur, Silent Pod will repair or replace the faulty component at no cost to the customer, subject to the exclusions outlined below.
Structural Integrity Warranty:
All Pods come with a three-year warranty on structural integrity, ensuring durability and stability within an indoor commercial environment. Silent Pod will repair or replace the affected part or product at its discretion.
General Conditions and Exclusions:
To maintain the validity of the warranty, the following conditions and exclusions apply:
Pod Relocation:
All pod relocations must be carried out by Silent Pod or authorised by Silent Pod in writing. Any relocation conducted without Silent Pod’s involvement or authorisation will void the warranty.
Exclusions:
Normal wear and tear, including cosmetic damages such as scratches, fading, or minor dents.
Damage resulting from misuse, abuse, negligence, or accidents, including but not limited to improper cleaning, unauthorised repairs, or alterations.
Environmental damage, including but not limited to humidity, water exposure, extreme temperatures, natural disasters, or pests.
Issues arising from third-party installations or integrations with building systems, including fire alarms, air conditioning, monitoring apparatus, or centralised building systems.
Defects or damages resulting from transportation, storage, or relocation by any party other than Silent Pod.
Third-party components or accessories not supplied by Silent Pod.
Additional Exclusions to this Quote:
All work involving builders or contractors, consents from council or building regulatory entities, or connections to centralised building systems such as fire, air conditioning, or alarm/monitoring apparatuses.
Warranty Claim Process:
To make a warranty claim, the following steps must be followed:
Claims must be made within the warranty period and accompanied by proof of purchase.
Customers must provide photographic or video evidence of the defect.
Silent Pod reserves the right to inspect the product on-site to determine the validity of the warranty claim.
Silent Pod will determine whether to repair or replace the defective component or product at its discretion.
Limitations of Liability:
Silent Pod is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of business, revenue, or profits. The warranty is limited to the repair or replacement of the product or component at Silent Pod’s discretion. Silent Pod’s liability is limited to the original purchase price of the product.
Deposit and Payment Terms:
A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to initiate the order. The remaining balance is invoiced upon completion of installation. The deposit is non-refundable for any delays due to circumstances beyond Silent Pod’s control, including manufacturing or shipping disruptions. No refunds will be issued for changes to the order or cancellations once the deposit is paid.
Installation and Access Conditions:
Installation is conducted during standard business hours (Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.) unless otherwise agreed in writing. Delivery is arranged via stairs or lift with standard building access. Any additional requirements or restrictions should be communicated prior to delivery. Any delays or additional costs incurred due to site access issues are the responsibility of the customer.
Governing Law and Jurisdiction:
This warranty and all related disputes are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and any legal proceedings will be conducted in the courts of New South Wales.
Commercial Use Disclaimer:
Silent Pod products are designed and sold for commercial use only. This warranty applies to business-to-business transactions and is not intended for individual consumer use. As such, the guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law for consumer purchases may not apply.
